Decisions arrived at in Poznan from 23rd to 27th September 2002

A: Presentation of results in Poznan in March 2003

1. Opening of exhibition in the presence of about 50 selected students, teachers and local school administrators (circa two hours): selected students present their projects in short lectures with the help of photos, graphs or other visual aids
2. Guided tours of exhibition, which is mounted in the school's gym (10 m x 20 m)
3. (At the end of the opening ceremony) Discussion on: "Water in danger or a danger? - What can we do?" (Students of the three countries make short statements (speeches) in which they explain their views; visual aids or some other means should be used to illus-trate the main points; the following discussion is led by a person chosen by the Polish school)

B: Joint projects in the third year

1. River control and its consequences
2. Flood disasters in Hanover's / Getxo's / Poznan's past (town planning and rivers)
3. Hanover on the river Leine - Poznan on the river Warta - Getxo on the river ?
4. Animal life in lakes in Poznan and Hanover
5. Water in literature (One poem or an excerpt of a longer text which deals with water is chosen by each country. A translation into English is sent to the partners. The different (creative) interpretations are presented and compared in Poznan. Selection of texts: until end of October; holidays in Poland: 21st January - 2nd February)
6. The health aspect in water sports (Poznan - Getxo - Hanover?)
7. Water crosswords in English
8. Revision and completion of Comenius documentation on common web site: revised pres-entations of project findings of all three years, reduced number of photos illustrating pro-ject work; improvement (correction) of English used in students' reports; (missing) arti-cles, corrections, videos and photos (maximum size about 50 Kbytes; JPEG) are sent to Gunther Kopfer, who (in cooperation with Malte Randt) will integrate everything into our Comenius web site
